Reine Rorbuer is almost as far out in Lofoten as you can get. If you are looking for a “get-away-from-it-all” – a place where few people have been, then you should come to us. We can’t promise you that you’ll be alone, but we can promise you that the others came here for the same reason.
Exceptionally beautiful
In the western part of Lofoten, at the entrance to the Reinefjord, lies the fishing village of Reine. Here, the majestic Lofoten mountains and the Arctic Ocean are our closest neighbors. In summer, a rorbu holiday with us can offer endless days and the midnight sun, while in winter, short days come with spectacular weather and the northern lights.
Reine attracts photographers from all over the world. When magazines and advertisers want to showcase something genuinely and uniquely beautiful, they use pictures from Reine. You have undoubtedly seen the motifs we present here. But Reine is so much more. Reine is a story about people who clawed their way and defied living conditions we can hardly imagine in our time. The rich sea provided them with food on the table and income to live on.
